With a wealth of experience Dynamite Dance is very proud of our Staff.

Lisa Bradby-Towers Owner/Director

Lisa has been dancing since the age of five. Her love of dance and music led her into ice dance at which she has had an extremely successful competitive career. Lisa and her husband, Alan, were ranked 2nd in Great Britain and went on to represent their country in many international events. Their greatest success was placing 2nd in the 1990 World Professional Championships in Jaca, Spain. They then went on to tour for five years with an international show as a principle adagio couple. Lisa moved to Coral Springs, Florida in 2000 and has since enjoyed passing her love of all forms of dance and movement on to her students.  

Alan Towers Owner/Director

Alan originates from Great Britain and represented his country in ice dance internationally with his wife Lisa. They were ranked second in Great Britain which meant they had a very successful competitive career travelling the world. Their greatest achievement was placing second in the 1990 World Professional Championships in Jaca, Spain. From there they went on to tour for five years with an international show as a principle adagio couple. Alan also trains competitive skaters to National level and is excited to share his years of experience at Dynamite Dance.  

 

Alyssa

Alyssa Thompson

Alyssa is a graduate of New World School of the Arts in the dance program where she trained in classical modern techniques and ballet. Alyssa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Florida. While pursuing her degree, she performed works by Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Peter London, and Josee Garant. After college, she joined the Repertory Dance Theatre of Utah where she toured nationally. As a professional dancer, she had the opportunity to perform in famous works by Michio Ito, Jose Limon, Doris Humphery, Ruth St. Denis, Isadora Duncan, Shapiro and Smith, Zvi Gotheiner and Ze’eva Cohen. ALYSSA THOMPSON is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. With over 10 years of teaching dance in studios, colleges, and public schools, she is happy to be a part of Dynamite Dance’s outstanding staff.

Kelly Stashko

  Kelly has had 40 years dance/competition experience and 30 years teaching experience. Trained in acro, ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, theatrical dance from some of the top teacher/choreographers such as Gus Giordano, Frank Hachett, Judy Bassing, Karen Hebert, Ron Daniels, Charles Kelley, Serge Aly. She turned down job offers with top Cruise ship lines, and the European Tour of CATS …in order to continue doing what she loved to do which was teach. Kelly owned, directed, taught, choreographed, and designed costumes for her own dance studio for 25yrs. Other accomplishments include choreographer for body builders, male dancers, country music video for Mad Max Allen, Piper High School show choir, Broward Center for Performing Arts-Performance Project Summer Camp 2011-13, Synergy Project Glee Club, backstage manager for Angeles Gitanos annual Flamenco shows 2009-2012, backstage manager for XCL Productions show Adrenaline, backstage assistant for Black-n-White showcase. Dynamite Dance is so excited to have a dance educator of Kelly’s vast experience on staff.

Michelle Patterson

Michelle began dancing at the age of five and continued her dance education through college. She studied dance at the University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA and achieved a degree in dance at the New World School of Arts in Miami. Ms. Michelle has danced for “Star Search” and has performed with “Chase Dance Company” and “La Mystique”. We are so fortunate to have Ms. Michelle here at Dynamite Dance as she is a very talented professional teacher with many years of experience. She has earned many awards for choreography in every discipline of dance and is certified with the Florida Dance Masters and Dance Educators of America.  

Nikki Piburn

Nikki Piburn, a Denver native, resides in Boca Raton and has been dancing since the young age of 3, and has had a passion for dance since then!  She grew up dancing competitively all the way throughout high school, and continuing to dance while attending Colorado State University on their dance team and participating in their dance program at the University. Nikki majored in Liberal Arts with a concentration in dance at CSU. After graduating college, she danced professionally with Holland America Cruise Line traveling the world and then dancing professionally with the NBA. She was a member of the Denver Nuggets Dancers for three years, while also being the team Officer, choreographer and teacher. Nikki has taught Dancers of all ages, all over the world, many forms of dance with her favorites being pom (dance team), jazz, contemporary, ballet and tap…and also yoga and pilates! As much as she loves to perform, she has the passion and inspiration to share the love of dance with others by teaching. Her favorite memories growing up were on the dance floor and she wants to share that feeling and happiness with her students! Nikki’s favorite dance quote is by Martha Graham, “Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion”.

Claudine Carter Pereira

Claudine Carter Pereira began dancing at the age of three, in Freeport, Bahamas, where she was born and raised, acquiring a strong foundation and love for dance.  From the age of nine through most of her teen years, she studied extensively with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City in their Trainee Program.  Claudine put her dance career on the “back-burner” to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland and later a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Despite her change in career path, she continued dancing throughout graduate school at both Virginia Commonwealth University and Richmond Ballet.  She has taught Ballet, Modern (Horton Technique), Jazz and Tap to various age groups ranging from ages three to adult in the Bahamas, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. While in the Bahamas, Claudine was awarded 1st Place in the National Arts Festival in the area of Dance.  She also participated in the NAACP’s ACTSO Competitions – in the Dance Category, where she was awarded 1st Place in the Florida Regional and State Competitions and received an Honorable mention in the National Competition. Claudine has performed as a dancer and ensemble singer in various musical theater productions including South Pacific, Kiss Me Kate and Anything Goes. During her time here in Florida, Claudine performed as a soloist with the South Broward Ballet Company (in Hollywood) in various performances including Don Quixote, Nutcracker, Peter & the Wolf, Sleeping Beauty and the principal role in Cinderella.  From February of 2003 – October 2009, Claudine performed with and was the Assistant Artistic Director of Jubilee Dance Theatre (a South Florida based company).  Claudine continues to make several guest artist appearances with various local dance companies and organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Developing Dreams Foundation (formerly the Pablo Malco Foundation). Claudine is also a member of the Florida Dance Association and a (certified) member in the area of “Performing Arts (Ballet)” with Dance Educators of America. Claudine recently completed the two-week Horton Pedagogy program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and annually attends the Finis Jhung Ballet Teacher’s Workshop. She is currently the Director of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Crime Laboratory – where they have nicknamed her the “Forensic Ballerina.” Despite her change in career path, she attributes many of her successes in life to lessons learned in “ballet class.” She shares this concept through her passion for the art of dance and has mentored many young dancers who have come to realize that you can have the best of both worlds; pursue a career and yet still maintain your passion for the arts.

Brittany Cascone

Brittany Cascone

Brittany began her passion for dance at the age of 2. She started dancing competitively around the age of 5, winning many National titles and Scholarships at major competitions and conventions like Tremaine, Showbiz, Starpower, On Stage America, and so many more. At the age of 9, she found her passion and love for hip-hop. She was a member of the Heat Jr.Jam, and at the age of 11, she became a Knicks City Kid when her family relocated back to New York. She is also a numerous scholarship winner for hip-hop conventions like Monsters of Hip Hop and the Pulse. While in New York City, she appearaed on television shows like Good Morning America, Live in Hollywood, The Apollo, Hogan Knows Best, and Ashlee Simpson’s reality show.

She has studied under well known professionals at The Miami City Ballet, Broadway Dance Center, The EDGE and the Millennium Dance Complex. At the age of 15, she began back up dancing for Latin Artists like Pitbull, Romeo, PeeWee, Talia, Shakira, & more, while also appearing in numerous music videos and commercial with these artists.

Around the age of 16, Brittany was signed to Mercury Island Def Jam, where she followed out her dream to become a female pop artist. During her 5 year journey with Def Jam Brittany worked with artists, producers, and label executives such as L.A. Reid, NeYo, Matthew Knowles, JR Rotem, Sean Kingston, just to name a few.

Brittany’s love for all things entertainment has landed her in numerous feature films, television shows, and national commercials. Currently, Brittany is a guest host on HSN (The Home Shopping Network), while still booking several commercials, television shows, and movies regularly as a dancer, singer, actress, and television host.

Nancy Mariani

Nancy Mariani

Nancy has an extensive background in Dance and Figure Skating and the two have always gone hand in hand with her career.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, she was a National Figure Skating Competitor with an impressive competitive career.
She has traveled all over the world with Professional Ice and Dance Shows. Settling in South Florida for over 25 years, she raised her three beautiful sons and loves to call this home!

For the past 20 years, Nancy was the Director of Skating Development for the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. Over the years she has helped to develop Figure Skaters from the entry level to elite World and Olympic levels. Nancy has taught thousands of students to fall in love with Dance and Ice Skating. Her dedication and devotion, goes above and beyond at all times. She is always the first one to work and the last one to leave. Her first priority is ensuring her students and customers are well taken care of.

Nancy is also a former Mrs. Coral Springs and Ms. Broward County. She was also second runner up to the Ms. Florida Pageant. Nancy also enjoys directing and judging beauty pageants all over South Florida.

With her vivacious personality, high energy, warm and loving ways, students always enjoy being around her! Nancy’s love has always been working with children and she is passionate about everything she does.
